Referee Josué França, who will officiate the match between the Flamengo under-20 team and Santa Cruz during the reopening of the Arena da Floresta stadium this Sunday afternoon (24), arrived for the match accompanied by his family and expressed his hopes for a smooth afternoon of work.
Josué, nicknamed “Seco” and considered one of the best CBF referees in Acre, said that due to the friendly nature of the match, he anticipates a festive atmosphere that will promote tranquility on the field. “It’s a festive match; God willing, everything will go well. Expectations are very high,” he said.
His mother, Maria José, 49, mentioned that she does not feel affected by the insults, which are common and almost normalized during football matches. “For me, it doesn’t affect me; it’s just normal,” she commented.

“It doesn’t affect us. Usually we have two mothers and two wives. One at home and one on the field, that’s how we do it,” Josué concluded.
