Tim Gettinger in Montreal? Kent Hughes makes his decision with the jumbo-sized striker

Goals are having a hard time coming in for the Canadian this year, but it’s quite the opposite for CH’s opponents.

Indeed, defensively, the Habs are struggling a lot, being the team that allows the most goals per game.

Offensively, it’s not very good either, the special teams are lagging and the physical side is almost non-existent.

I’m not talking about big checks or fights, but simply winning one-on-one fights.

Aside from Brendan Gallagher, the team’s players are there to collect their paychecks and they’re not paying the price.

To win, you have to pay the price and expose yourself to areas where it hurts. The Canadian is cold and it has been widespread since October.

There was actually a forward available on NHL waivers who could have interested Kent Hughes.

I say “could have interested Kent Hughes” because the latter chose not to claim it.

I am not disappointed by this decision, even if Tim Gettinger has a very interesting size.

I really wish Kent Hughes would call Joshua Roy, Owen Beck or even Alex Barré-Boulet forward. They will have the knife between their teeth.

I don’t think the Canadian needs to get bigger, he needs heart in his stomach and that can’t be bought.

Hopefully we have what it takes internally, because Kent Hughes has decided to be patient and follow the plan.
