Terminus for FC Porto. This Sunday, November 24, Vitor Bruno's gang took to the pitch at Moreirense to compete in the round of 16 of the Taça de Portugal. And while they hoped to imitate Sporting CP (6-0 winner of Amarante) and SL Benfica (7-0 winner of Estrela Amadora), the Dragões finally lost with a score of two goals to one.
However, it was the visitors who opened the hostilities. On a precise cross from João Mario, Brazilian international Pepê struck first, with a header (35'). But the blue and whites were unable to keep this lead for long since Luís Asué, on a serve from Godfried Frimpong, came to reduce the score, also with a nice shot of his helmet (40').
More info to come…
