Nantes – Le Havre: the match interrupted after the Nantes supporters descended on the pitch
FOOTBALL – The Nantes-Le Havre meeting, counting for the 12th day of Ligue 1, this Sunday, November 24 at the Beaujoire stadium, was interrupted in added time of the second half, when Nantes supporters tried to invade the pitch while Nantes was trailing 2-0.
Supporters from the Loire stand threw projectiles onto the pitch and broke a first security perimeter, provoking the intervention of CRS and security agents.
Jérôme Brisard, the referee of the match then interrupted the match for several minutes, before sending the players back to the locker room, calling a “crisis unit” to determine whether the match should be definitively interrupted or whether the few remaining minutes should be played in added time.

Toilet paper throws and tennis balls
The supporters of the Loire stand had already briefly interrupted the match in the first half by throwing tennis balls and toilet paper towards the goals of Alban Lafont, the Nantes goalkeeper.
They left the stadium and calm returned a few minutes after the match was interrupted.
