It all started with a pyre fire. This Sunday around 4 p.m. firefighters from the departmental fire and rescue service were engaged in rue de Jouvence in Messigny-et-Vantoux.
After arriving on the scene, the firefighters noticed that the flames had quickly spread to the pavilion and more particularly to the roof. The pyre fire was attached to the house.
16 firefighters extinguished the blaze using three fire hoses. The residents were able to escape unharmed. The damage concerns nearly 40 square meters of the roof. Only this part was destroyed out of the 200 square meters of surface.
