Patrick Sibilat’s beautiful tribute

Before offering him some gifts, Patrick Sibilat, the principal, on behalf of everyone, paid him a vibrant tribute: “ Since 1993, you have supported 9 principals, 11 assistants, 5 managers, 3 secretaries, hundreds of teachers and thousands of students and parents. You are the memory of the establishment, who knows every nook and cranny of the college better than you? How can you not underline this professional conscience which has led you to think about a thousand details in the service of personnel. Tomorrow, it's obvious, the college will no longer be the same, we will miss someone, a sometimes grumpy presence but always ready to be of service, to whom we knew we could turn in case of need or need. seed. We express our sincere thanks to you. Happy retirement Mr. Bruneau ».

« Organized at the initiative of the management, this day was extraordinary and will remain forever in my memoryreacted Paul Bruneau. The students, by their gesture, moved me and I had a tear in my eye. My colleagues, teachers and management have had kind and moving comments about me. I was no longer Paul, I heard “Paulo” here and there with a feeling of joy. »

What memories will he keep in particular from his professional life? “ Bonds have been created and I enjoy reunions with former students and colleagues. I don't forget the festive moments around a barbecue and the convivial moments which allow exchanges by evoking the past or the future, such as welcoming students during linguistic exchanges. On the other hand, certain memories disturb me, such as the death of students following an accident or the disappearance of a colleague. »

In his new life as a retiree, Paul Bruneau intends to remain as active as possible: “ With my partner, Anne-, I will continue to practice my hobbies and activities: dancing, walking, belote evenings… Trips will be organized and I will continue to get involved in Auto'Coeurs solidarity transport and why not in the future at within another local association ».
