Charleroi lost 3-0 at Genk last night. Adem Zorgue railed against arbitration.
Charleroi did well on the Genk pitch. The Limburgers started the match in minor mode. But the Zebras failed to seize the opportunity and could only observe the damage once the Limburg machine was launched.
The reaction ofAdem Zorgane reflects the feeling of the last few months: “We weren’t very lucky in finishing our chances in the first half. After the break we had two or three chances that we didn’t converted,” he told Sporza.
“I had the feeling that Genk were not in the game, until the referee put them back in. He awarded them a lot of fouls that he would not have called for us. We are frustrated because we played well” adds the Algerian, quite frustrated.

Rik De Mil preferred to remember the positive: “It’s incredible to lose here playing like this, we are playing a very good match. After the 1-0, we conceded the second goal too quickly. But we created enough chances , I am very proud of what my team proposed.”
Charleroi should end the weekend outside the red zone but faces two solid matches with the Walloon shock and a trip to Antwerp. Then, it will be the six-point meeting against Louvain, a direct competitor for maintenance.
