The man, who was transported to Lille hospital after the accident, was placed in police custody this Friday, November 22, for manslaughter “by a driver who used drugs.” Presented to an investigating judge, he was placed in pre-trial detention.
It was near Arras, Saturday November 16, that the three members of the family were killed during an accident on the highway. Since Monday November 18, psychological support was set up at the Vimy school. An altar was also spontaneously set up in front of the Vimy town hall, with drawings and dozens of white flowers.
A white march is organized in their memory this Saturday, November 23 in Vimy (Pas-de-Calais), the family's hometown.
