A 25-year-old man suspected of having killed a municipal agent in Grenoble in September was arrested Thursday in Portugal. This Friday evening, November 22, he agreed to be extradited to France.
A heavy criminal record. He was a team leader in the city's cleanliness department, where he had worked for more than twenty years. He was also one of the executives of the local CGT – who raised nearly 30,000 euros in a fundraiser launched to support his wife and two children.
The suspect known to the courts for “theft, violence and drug trafficking”
The suspect, aged 25, whose identity document was found in the Audi RS3 registered in Poland which he abandoned on site, has since been actively sought. The man was known to the courts in particular for “theft, violence and drug trafficking” and for having beaten, with five fellow prisoners, another prisoner at the Varces remand center (Isère) in June 2023. Information judicial was opened on September 11 to find him.
