The UTCT is back this weekend with the final stage of the Gran Canaria World Trail Majors Series in the UT100 format: 98 km and 4,972 m of elevation gain. A race that promises to be intense across the Table Mountains between the German Hannes Namberger (winner of the 2022 edition) and the Russian Dmitry Mityaev, winner of the Mont-Blanc Marathon this year. Among the women, the battle for first place will pit the American Rachel Drake (first in the Black Canyon Ultras and eighth in the Western States 100 in 2024) against the Russian Ekaterina Mityaeva, victorious in the 90km of the Mont-Blanc Marathon this year. Departure Saturday at 3 a.m. French time. Until then, you will be able to follow live from 4 p.m. this Friday the main event of the UTCT, the 100 miles – 164km for 7516m of elevation gain.
