What direction is Acigné’s town planning and housing taking?

The mayor of Acigné (Ille-et-Vilaine), Olivier Dehaese, presented and commented on the activity and sustainable development report of Métropole for the year 2023, as required by the General Code of Local Authorities.

The part on metropolitan solidarity prompted a question from Alice Roudaut, municipal councilor from the Lutte Ouvrière list. The report talks about the rehabilitation of housing in priority political neighborhoods in Rennes, I have not seen anything at the municipal level » , she notices. It is not because the priority programs are all in Rennes that nothing is happening elsewheres , reassures the mayor. We had work this year here on the Clouères residence, the aim of which was to improve energy performance.

Buildings rue Robert-Capa

Alice Roudaut questioned Mayor Olivier Dehaese about the future of the buildings on rue Robert-Capa, half of which are empty due to unsanitary conditions. The mayor assures that Not a single time goes by when I see people from Espacil (the social landlord), including the general director, without me reminding them. Other than repeating it, I have no way to act . Work had been started to test the effects on humidity, then abandoned. I think the work was not enough » , intervenes Laure Stalder, deputy delegate for solidarity and housing. Until a solution is found, the city will no longer entrust Espacil with projects.

One more floor

The municipal council issued a favorable opinion on draft modification no. 2 of the Local Intercommunal Urban Planning Plan (PLUi). At the municipal level, the modification targets seven issues, and concerns among others the projects in the Judith d'Acigné area and the Botrel 2 sector, the islets of Genêts and Onglées, and the supervision of certain city entrances.

Laure Judéaux, deputy delegate in charge of town planning, points out that an adjustment would however be necessary at the level of the Development and Programming Orientation (OAP) rue de Rennes and rue de La Lande. This would involve authorizing the construction of one more floor, in order to meet the densification needs imposed by the Zero Net Artificialization (ZAN) law. That is to say, raising constructions to heights in order to avoid greater concreting of natural spaces.

The next and last municipal council of the year is scheduled for December 16, at 8 p.m.
