The Jazz nevertheless led for a large part of the match, having a 20-point lead before halftime, but San Antonio, deprived of Victor Wembanyama (hit in the knee) for the third game in a row, managed to reverse the trend , with a 34-22 in the third quarter and a 41-29 in the last. Harrison Barnes finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds, but the Texans played collectively, with seven other players with more than 10 points. This bodes well for Spurs, who will find Wemby “soon” according to interim coach Mitch Johnson. Maybe Saturday against leader Golden State on Saturday? The other two matches of the night saw the surprise victory of Toronto (13th in the East) against Minnesota (10th in the West) with a score of 110-105 with 31 points from RJ Barrett, and the success 123-121 after extension of Charlotte (9th in the East) on Detroit (7th) with Brandon Miller (No. 2 in the 2023 draft behind Wembanyama) author of his career record : 38 points at 15 out of 26 on shots (8/12 at 3pts).
