CS Constantine, which beat USM Alger at home on the 10th day, regains the lead in the championship by passing its opponent of the day and MC Alger.
After the good derby between the MCA and the CRB the day before which showed the fragility of Mouloudia of Algiers, CS Constantine was also keen to prove that it was not at the top of the table by chance and that it had the squad needed to stand up to the capital's clubs and represent Algeria well in the Confederation Cup.
The greens opened the scoring in the 33rd minute by defender Boudrama, with a header, on a free kick from captain Dib. Subsequently, Kheireddine Madoui's men perfectly controlled the match even if goalkeeper Boussouf had to deploy a few times against balls from the Usmists.
On the USMA side, apart from a header from Belkacemi that was a bit too uncrossed, there was practically no really dangerous attack, Nabil Maaloul's players multiplying strikes from far off target, due to not being able to enter the area opponent.
The match was mainly played in the middle with duels between Boukhachouche and Likonza on the USMA side, Benchaira and Merbah mainly on the CSC side.
