UN chief calls new Russian ballistic missile “worrying”

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Thursday that his forces struck Ukraine with a new medium-range hypersonic ballistic missile, after a strike on the city of Dnipro which did not carry a nuclear warhead.

Asked about the announcement of Washington's decision to supply antipersonnel mines to Ukraine, Stéphane Dujarric noted that “our position against the use of mines anywhere in the world remains unchanged.”
