Israel stands against arrest warrants issued against Netanyahu and Gallant

Un dark day. » It is in these terms that the entire Israeli political spectrum commented on the issuance of arrest warrants against Binyamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant by the ICC on Thursday, November 21. It was not, however, to describe the same thing.

A scandalized tone echoed by all Israeli politicians, even those who lead the opposition parties. “A shameful decision,” describes Yaïr Golan, leader of the Labor Party; “A moral blindness,” deplores Benny Gantz, minister who resigned from the war cabinet last June; “These arrest warrants reward terrorism,” criticizes Yaïr Lapid, leader of the centrist Yesh Atid party.
