Marc Márquez remembers the difficulties of becoming champion and gives the example of Pecco Bagnaia: 'He won 11 races and finished second.'

Marc Márquez is considered one of the favorites for next year and now even more so given that he will be a factory rider, in this case with Ducati. He admitted that he likes the pressure of being in a team with this role, and that he has the obligation to always be in contention for the podium, but the title is always difficult, and he gave as an example …Pecco Bagnaia.

The Spaniard, who moved from Gresini Racing to the factory team, explained that the pressure that comes with a factory team and being one of the main ones to evolve the bike is something that he appreciates: 'I like having the pressure and then you have to deal with that, but I know the new responsibility of being in the best team on the grid is trying to fight for podium positions in every race.'

However, despite having the better bike, that in itself does not guarantee the title will be a reality, with the #93 remembering what happened to his new teammate in the 2024 season, which ended last Sunday with Jorge Martín as champion:

– So, to be champion or not, as we saw this year, Pecco won 11 races and finished second. But he had an incredible season and gave his best.

Márquez “asked” the manufacturer for a more stable motorcycle that would allow him to compete for the best results throughout the year.
