The attempted murder occurred last Saturday around 7:20 p.m. A person contacted emergency services mentioning having heard a gunshot outside, in the Limoilou sector.
The police carried out “multiple checks and searches”, but no suspect or victim was located.
Following the investigation, they were finally identified. “The victim, a 25-year-old man, would not have been affected,” specifies Laurence Godbout, spokesperson for the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ).

Wednesday evening, police carried out a major search of the suspect’s home on 3rd Avenue.
The latter led to the seizure of a baseball bat, a knife, nearly 25 g of crystal meth and a little more than 200 methamphetamine tablets.
Two other people on site were also arrested, namely a 25-year-old man subject to an arrest warrant and a 33-year-old woman subject to a breach of commitment.
They are also detained and are expected to appear today at the Quebec courthouse.
Noisy
When the arrival of Soleil on the scene, the occupants of the building had been evacuated during the operation.
According to them, the occupants of this apartment had often made a “noise” since their arrival in the building in July.
Still according to them, the police had already intervened at this address at the beginning of November, but the suspects were then released.
