For the second year in a row, Formula 1 is setting up shop in Las Vegas. With 3 rounds remaining in the season, everything could be decided this weekend. Circuit, odds, TV program: here's everything you need to know before placing your bets.
To the great dismay of his rivals, Max Verstappen succeeded in his poker move during the Brazilian Grand Prix. Starting in 17th position, he took advantage of the rain and a red flag to win and increase his lead in the standings. In Vegas, the Dutchman is now on track to remain the king of drivers, and leave Lando Norris in the dust. Unless the Englishman steals first place from him, in which case he will burn a joker, the world champion is about to show that he is not tired of first places.
Las Vegas Strip Circuit
Long live Las Vegas! F1 arrives in Sin City for a third race held in the United States this season after the Austin Grand Prix and the Miami Grand Prix!
The 6.14 km track, which notably follows the famous Las Vegas Strip, revolves around the city's most prestigious hotels and casinos and has nothing to do with that of the 1981 and 1982 editions, contested in the Caesars Palace parking lot. . This year, sections of existing road make up the route, which promises to give pride of place to the most powerful single-seaters. The low temperatures predicted, although feared by some teams, will allow drivers to push the throttle with their feet to the floor. Be careful though to manage the braking zones carefully!
With an oversized, walkable paddock, a unique and whimsical setting, a late-night lineup and, above all, celebrities galore, this Las Vegas car event promises to be like no other! (However, with a strong appetite for an American-style show…) Will it still suit the tastes of the pilots? We will find out early Sunday morning!
In the meantime, and to refamiliarize yourself with the circuit, what could be better than a virtual lap with Charles Leclerc?

The jackpot for Verstappen?
Thanks to its success in Brazil, Mad Max put an end to Lando Norris's last hopes of a comeback. Now 62 points ahead in the drivers' standings, Max Verstappen has the opportunity to validate his world champion title on Sunday. To achieve this, he will just need to finish in front Lando Norris (@3,25). And to get there, what's better than a first place (@3,50) ? We remind you that it was he who already won last year, for the first time in Las Vegas. He knows the way.

Ferrari plays its last cards
Now 2nd in the manufacturer ranking, Ferrari knows that she will have to perform flawlessly to create the feat and steal the title from McLaren (@5,00). Fred Vasseur will therefore have to help his two drivers make the most of their abilities to hope to obtain another double podium, as was the case during their last visit to the USA. Charles Leclerc (@1,50) et Carlos Sainz (@1,60) had signed a precious double, relaunching the race for the team title. Enough to leave room for dreams?
The podium is here!
They want to finish well
With 3 races to go before the end of the season, the drivers are already preparing for what comes next. This is the case of Lewis Hamilton (@1,48), who will necessarily want to take care of his exit before joining Ferrari. His future former teammate George Russell (@1,46) will want to prove that he has the shoulders to become the headliner of Mercedes. A top 6 seems well within the reach of the two Britons. Sergio Perez (@2,85), disappointing throughout the year, would also be well advised to go for a few points if he does not want his place to be really threatened at the end of the season.

Author of a historic double podium during the Brazilian Grand Prix, the French duo gave themselves a breath of fresh air to end the season in style. Morale is high at Alpinewhich jumped to an unexpected 6th place in the manufacturer standings (49 pts). The objective now is to keep the latter, and the three-way fight with Haas (46 pts) and Racing Bulls (44 pts) promises to be intense over these last three races. Esteban Ocon (@2,75) et Pierre Gasly (@2,75 also) know that they will have to get their car into the points to protect themselves from their main opponents, Nico Hulkenberg (@1,82) et Kevin Magnussen at the top (@2,10).
