Maine-et-. Private operator Lopping takes the reins of Terra Botanica

Botanical Earth announces having chosen as partner the French group Looping following the publication last March of a call for expression of interest (AMI). It is for the plant and biodiversity park a new sequence which is opening and which should lead to the resumption of park management by the new operator in the first quarter of 2025.

Nearly 60 million euros of investment at stake

This operation should in particular make it possible to increase the amount of investments from 2025 with a investment plan of 59 million euros. This will increase the attractiveness of the park which increasingly contributes to the influence of the City of , the department of Maine-et-Loire, the region and the Great West.

The French Looping group is made up of 19 parks in Europe with a total of 800 permanent employees who welcome a total of around 6.6 million visitors each year.

“The arrival of this renowned operator will allow Terra Botanica to take a new step in its development. This park has today become a benchmark among the major theme parks in Europe, with a ranking in the top 10 in in “Looping will support Terra Botanica in its investment needs to offer it real growth opportunities.”

The finalization of this partnership should result in the first quarter of 2025 with the signing of a 40-year long lease and the guarantee of an investment plan of 59 million by the private operator.
