At the end of his contract with OL, Nicolas Tagliafico spoke about his future, but also about the club's financial situation.
A few days before reconnecting with Ligue 1 with a trip to Reims on Saturday at 9 p.m., OL's situation off the field is quite complex. The Rhone club has just been relegated as a precautionary measure by the DNCG. This winter there will have to be some sales to remedy all of this. Several players have been identified to replenish the coffers, like Cherki and Fofana, but some will be quite hard to remove.
Tagliafico reassures
We are thinking in particular of elements at the end of the contract, like Lacazette and Nicolas Tagliafico. The latter, who spent the international break with Argentina, was also asked about his future after the victory against Peru (1-0). “No news yet, I have a contract until next June,” simply declared the full-back, who also mentioned the OL situation.
“The club's situation is good, there is no panic. The economic situation will resolve itself, that's what we were told. And there you have it, we are working hard to achieve the club’s objectives, which are high,” revealed the reigning World Champion, enough to reassure a lot of people.
