Beer and Flanders, obvious
Since September 14 and until February 1, 2025, the exhibition “Beer, the gold of Flanders” traces the history between Flanders and beer through around ten explanatory panels and period objects on loan. by the Steenwerck Museum of Rural Life and Hubert Bogaert, author in particular of the “History of the breweries and brewers of inner Flanders in the 1950s”.
From Mesopotamia to contemporary times, including the place of women or the gods, nothing is forgotten. An achievement made possible thanks to the assistance of four breweries, partners and financiers of the exhibition: 3 Monts, Motte Cordonnier, Thiriez and Bellenaert. “ We wanted to take a theme that interests everyone.
