disgusted, Félix Lebrun speaks after his heavy disillusionment at the WTT Finals

This Wednesday, November 20, the WTT Finals in Fukuoka, Japan began but it has already ended for Félix Lebrun. The younger of the two brothers took the front door against the German Benedikt Duda. The latter had already shattered the dreams of the bronze medalist in singles at the Olympics during the European Championships a month ago. In the quarter-final, Félix Lebrun was eliminated by Duda and threw his red racket, receiving a red card. This time, the French table tennis player was eliminated as soon as he entered the fray in the round of 16, losing the match in five sets (11-9, 6-11, 12-14, 11-6, 9-11). After this disillusionment during the last tournament of the year, Félix spoke at the microphone of RMC Sport and he appeared disgusted.

Félix Lebrun drunk

I don't know what to say. Honestly, I gave it my all. Just like last time I had ups and downs but here I did my game. But I had the impression that he anticipated all my trajectories and it was difficult for me to surprise him. Every match I try new things and even when I beat him he leads two to one so they are difficult matches and he plays really well. Plus he's super confident so he deserves his victory. This defeat pisses me off but that’s how it is. It's the ping, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. And there I lost“, he declared, disgusted to already take the door in this tournament which brings together the 16 best players of the year. Félix Lebrun is all the more annoyed that he missed the opportunity to become No. 3 in the world in case of success against Duda.
