Rugby: with what composition will the French XV face Argentina for its last match of 2024?

After two victories against Japan (52-12) and New Zealand (30-29), the XV of France faces Argentina, Friday November 22, 2024, for his last test match.

What composition?

Fabien Galthié gave the names of the 15 players who will start the match against the Pumas. As since the beginning of the month, Antoine Dupont is captain. He holds at the scrum and accompanied by his club teammate, Thomas Ramos. Number 10 will therefore not occupy the full-back position, recovered by Leo Barrealready lined up from the start against Japan. Also note the absence of Grégory Damn itsupplemented by Charles Ollivon.

The reunion

The French team will therefore cross paths with the Argentinians for the third time this year, after a double confrontation in South America which had been balanced in July. The Blues had won first (13-28) before lose the second (33-25). But this tour had been the scene of internal setbacks.

As a reminder, Melvyn Jaminet had been excluded of the rally after broadcasting an Instagram story in which he made openly racist comments. As for Oscar Jégou and Hugo Auradouthey had been arrested in the Hôtel des Bleus before being indicted for rape and sexual assault.
