A man aged 25 ans was discovered dead in his own apartment on Tuesday, November 19 in the middle of the afternoon in Alès (Gard). A suspectfriend of the victim, was arrested at the end of the day in Nîmes (Gard).

Suspicious death

According to our colleagues at France Bleu Gard Lozerethe inanimate body of this individual was discovered in his apartment, around 4:30 p.m., in an area located near the southern ring road.

It's the victim's mother, worried about unable to reach him on the phonewho would have alerted the owner of the apartment at the beginning of the afternoon.

An autopsy should be carried out on the victim's body, Nimes (Gard), this Wednesday, November 20.

A quick arrest

A man, whose age has not been communicated, was arrested by the police at the very end of the day. He had spent part of the day with the victim before fleeing. His vehicle was found in the sensitive district of Valdegour in Nimes (Gard).

This individual was finally arrested when he had just taken his seat at Nîmes station (Gard) on a train leaving for Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône).

An investigation for murder was opened at the very end of the day.
