Mascara is undoubtedly THE flagship beauty product for people who wear makeup. According to the study *Eyes Up Here Survey 2020, 97% of beauty product consumers living in the United States and United Kingdom use mascara in their makeup routine. A similar craze in France, where 66% of women would keep their mascara if they could only keep one beauty product!, according to the My Little Box x Mac Cosmetics study, 2020.
Each mascara having its promise (when it does not combine several), it is not always easy to choose the one that suits you best. So, whether we have a doe eye or a lynx eye, before setting our sights on the lucky one, we benefit from seeing things more clearly.

The one that meets your needs. To choose the right mascara, remember this: with small eyelashes, there is no question of choosing a mascara that promises volume, otherwise they would appear even shorter! Team long eyelashes? Skip the lengthener, which would visually make your eyelashes very (too) thin. Do you have any doubts about the properties of your mascara? Keep an eye out: a lengthener generally has a rather fine brush and a relatively fluid formula, unlike a volumizer, whose brush and texture are often much thicker.

It allows you to separate any small clumps after or during mascara application without adding material. It can also be used as a small eraser to remove small mascara stains. As for the lower fringe, do not try to make it up if it is sparse (this would be more visible) or if there are dark circles, which would tend to intensify them. Remove your mascara properly
Removing mascara without breaking your lashes can be a challenge. However, by placing a cotton pad soaked in two-phase make-up remover on (by the time the wax softens), it becomes much easier. Then simply slide it gently outwards to avoid irritating the inner corner of the eye. Does it hold up? “Massage your eyelashes with a drop of sweet almond oil to loosen them,” advises the professional. Then you can apply castor oil, which strengthens and accelerates eyelash growth. Unless your mascara already contains skincare ingredients that you have already used during the day, such as Cornflower water, Cranberry extract or even provitamin B5 (= panthenol).
