Super Monkey Ball is an iconic series whose legacy spans generations. After a long period of absence, the franchise is making a comeback with several new games, including the latest, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. In an unexpected announcement, SEGA revealed that the game will receive a major update, version 2.0accompanied by new characters from astonishing collaborations.
This long-awaited update will arrive on November 26 for the version currently exclusive to the Switch. The version 2.0 of Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble promises to introduce a large number of new and exciting features:
- Added mode Super Punchy Brawl in Battle mode
- A new scene for Banana Hunt
- Mode Banana Bonus for Time Attack
- Mode No Miss Challenge
- Option Super Speed
- Mode First Person
- City Ultimate EX
Among these additions, the mode First Person particularly attracts attention. It adds to the new playable characters, including the vocaloid pop star Hatsune Miku and the legendary king of monsters, Godzilla.
No pricing has been announced for these characters yet, but other DLC for the game has seen their characters priced around 5,50 €. We can therefore expect a similar cost for these additions.
Anyway, and regardless of purchasing DLC, the free update 2.0 will bring a host of welcome improvements and content to the game, arriving next week.
