“This will perhaps make someone here scream, I would like to have my daughter face to face. It hurts me to see her like that contrary to what she thinks,” Dominique Pelicot immediately declares.
Caroline Darian fumes, her gaze fixed, then explodes: “You're going to say it here in this courtyard, I'll never go see you. You've had plenty of opportunities. You'll end up alone like a dog.”
“We always end up alone”, replies, wearily, Dominique Pelicot. “You especially,” her daughter retorts.
“What would you be willing to give, say or do to have the support of this person,” insists the lawyer, provoking the disapproval of the civil parties. “Nothing more than what I've been saying all along, the truth. Except giving my life to my daughter so she doesn't think what she thinks.”
