Tuesday, November 19, around 6:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire in a house in Saint-Denis-du-Payré (Vendée). The house was destroyed but the fire did not spread. The resident had to be rehoused.

Around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, the Vendée fire and rescue operational center was called to a house fire in Saint-Denis-du-Payré (Vendée). Quickly, twenty-five firefighters from six different emergency centers were sent to the scene.
“No one was injured in the incident”
Arriving on rue de l'Ouche-France, they discovered a 150 m² residential house completely engulfed in flames. The gendarmes, Enedis and an elected official were also called to the scene. Thanks to “the establishment of three spears” firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading.
“No one was injured in the incident. The occupant of the home was relocated by friends,” specify the firefighters. An investigation was opened by the gendarmerie to determine the origin of this fire.
