30 positions threatened at Arcelormittal Denain
“In the denaisis, 30 positions are immediately threatened by AcelorMittal's decision despite discussions with the unions. This position is completely unacceptable and I intend to stand firmly alongside employees who are threatened in their social lives and in their careers. I have already made contact with political and public decision-makers in charge of economic development and employment. Now is the time for mobilization and action.”
This announcement was made by the steel group this Tuesday, November 19, in front of employee representatives: ArcelorMittal is considering the closure of two sites, in Denain (North) and Reims (Marne).
