Muriel Zmudz takes a step back with archery

Nogent-le-Roi. Muriel Zmudz resigns from archery. The Compagnie d'arc de Nogent-le-Roi held its general meeting on Saturday at the association house.

Muriel Zmudz, president of the association for 25 years, announced her resignation: “I am handing over the presidency, but I remain on the board of directors. I have had some great human encounters over these 25 years.”

Champions

The club's membership is 61 archers, 22 women and 39 men, 50 adults and 11 young people under 18 years old. “The season has been rich. We had great results,” emphasizes Muriel Zmudz.

The club was present in 53 competitions, which represents 324 participations for 34 archers.

Two archers have exceeded 20 competitions, Patrick Mulet and Isabelle Champion are departmental champions.

For the indoor season, the club has three departmental champions: Sylvie Agneray, Matthieu Marie-Élise (also regional and departmental champion in the Elite category) and Muriel Zmudz. Alain and Liliane Cuny won the title of regional and departmental champions in 3D shooting.

“For the 2025 season we will be able to enter a classic women’s team in DR1, a compound team in DR2 and a men’s team in DR3.”

The club also plans to invest in equipment, bows, sights, arrows.

Presidency. Ingrid Gellis is the new president of the Compagnie d'arc de Nogent-le-Roi. She was elected by the members of the board of directors.
