“The Russian-Ukrainian war is not a sprint, but a marathon. We resisted steadfastly during the first thousand days of this large-scale invasion. Behind us are many superhuman trials. However, victory will go to the one who lasts one day longer than the enemy. So it's time to act together again, like a thousand days ago, like ten years ago, when the Russian-Ukrainian war began. This concludes the message from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Defense Forces hit a military target on Russian territory for the first time with ATACMS ballistic missiles
On the night of Tuesday, November 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a military target on the territory of Russia for the first time using ATACMS ballistic missiles, reported Yuriy Butousov, editor-in-chief of Censor.NET.
On Facebook, he clarified that this was the first ATACMS missile launch by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, authorized by the administration of US President Joe Biden.
“Today, a new Kremlin “red line” has been crossed. The whole world will now watch if Putin dares to react,” the journalist wrote.
He added that these long-range strikes on Russian territory will not cause a rapid change in the war, but will inflict significant losses on the rear infrastructure of the Russian army, complicate maneuvers and logistics in border areas, and force the Russians to disperse their air defense systems even further.
The target appears to have been an arsenal of the 1046th Material and Technical Support Center located near the town of Karachev in the Bryansk region of Russia.
The General Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously confirmed that Ukrainian forces attacked a Russian depot in the Bryansk region. According to the military, at 2:30 a.m., 12 secondary explosions and detonations were observed in the arsenal area.
“The destruction of ammunition depots of the army of the Russian occupiers with the aim of putting an end to Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine will continue,” assured the General Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The head of the Center for Combating Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, clarified that this is the 67th arsenal of the Russian GRAU in the Bryansk region. According to him, this warehouse contained artillery ammunition, KAB guided bombs and anti-aircraft missiles.
The Russians struck Hloukhiv, in the Sumy region, and Kharkiv: 12 dead, including an 8-year-old child, and 12 wounded in Kharkiv.
Twelve people, including a child, lost their lives following a Russian strike on a dormitory in the town of Hloukhiv, Sumy region, late in the evening of November 18. People may still be under the rubble.
