The Nancy-Bastia match, counting for the 8th round of the Coupe de France, will finally be played at the Armand-Cesari stadium, on Friday November 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Indeed, the ASNL announces that it wanted to reverse the match due to repair work on the lawn of its stadium.
The AS Nancy press release:
“After careful consideration, the decision was taken to reverse the match in the 8th round of the Coupe de France between us and SC Bastia.
The choice was difficult between allowing you to attend a match in the Coupe de France spirit against a hierarchically superior opponent and asserting the reason to optimize the work undertaken on Marcel Picot's pitch for the championship which remains our priority to all with a long way to go. It's because we have the same passion that we want to show reason for this round and give ourselves the means to offer you the best of our team in our stadium until the end of the season!
We would like to thank SC Bastia for its facilitating role in the procedures and organizational arrangements for this meeting which will take place on Friday November 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Finally, we trust you to come and express your passion by encouraging the team for our last championship match of the year next Friday, December 13.
See you soon in Picot, go Nancy!”
