The Christmas bonus should be transferred, automatically, to the bank account of beneficiaries on Friday December 13, 2024, after validation by two decrees, informs Paul Christophe, the Minister of Solidarity on Ouest France. It will be paid in one go per household.
For those whose rights began in December 2023, payment will not be made until January 2025.

2 Who can benefit from it?
The Christmas bonus is reserved, under conditions, for beneficiaries of minimum social benefits. It is not compulsory to have French nationality to qualify. You must have received, in November or December 2024, the Active Solidarity Income (RSA), a specific solidarity allowance (ASS) or a retirement equivalent allowance (AER).

3 What is the amount of the premium?
Despite inflation, the amount is the same as in 2023. For those who receive the RSA, the Christmas bonus (paid by the Caf) varies depending on the number of children and marital status (single or in a relationship ). Thus, a single person without children will receive 152.45 euros; a couple without children, 228.67 euros; a couple with two children, 320.14 euros and a single person with two children, 370.45 euros, etc.
Please note, you must remember to check that the personal data on your Caf account is up to date so as not to miss out.
For ASS or AER beneficiaries, the amount of the Christmas bonus (paid by France Travail) is fixed, i.e. €152.45. Last year, single people with one or more dependent children (under 15 years old) were able to benefit from a 35% increase in this bonus. Around 700,000 families were affected. We do not yet know if this increase will still be effective this year.
