While all the big European teams are rolling out the red carpet for him, Tijjani Reijnders remains unmoved. The Dutch international does not intend to leave AC Milan.
After 8 years of forging his skills in the Netherlands, Tijjani Reijnders is taking the plunge in 2023 by signing for AC Milan, one of the most emblematic clubs in the world. While he signed for five seasons, the first was enough for him to win over all the fans at the San Siro. Despite himself, the midfielder at the same time arouses the desire of the giants of Europe.
FC Barcelona want to enlist the 26-year-old player, while big rival Real Madrid wants to sign him to replace Aurélien Tchouaméni. All without counting Manchester City who thought of the player to take the place of Kevin De Bruyne after his departure.
But, Tijjani Reijnders has no intention of moving from AC Milan, at least for now.
“We are currently discussing an extension but I cannot say more. I see myself in Milan until I’m in my thirties. It’s one of the most beautiful clubs in the world and it’s an honor to play there. Wearing Cruyff’s number 14 is very special and I’m happy in Milan,” he said.
