A student from Saint-Joseph college in Pont-du-Château, in Puy-de-Dôme, was able to join NASA thanks to her Brevet des Collèges diploma.
Kenza-Lili Truphad obtained the National Brevet Diploma last July. She removed the precious document last Saturday from the Saint-Joseph college in Pont-du-Château. She had been waiting for this transfer for a long time to finally join NASA headquarters in the United States. Indeed, the famous American aerospace entity had been looking for a long time for a profile to integrate the quantum physics and cosmo-variability pole of Planck. Keanza-Lili immediately applied and got the job! She will also work on adjusting the James Webb Space Telescope and plans to carry out a flight to board the ISS in the future.
A new meaning to DNB
This possibility of hiring at only 15 years old gives real value to the college certificate, which has long been criticized. The student had only obtained 10.5/20, but this seemed sufficient to work in a strategic position with high responsibility. Paid $6,500 per month, she will however work 75 hours per week and will regularly have to solve equations to the fifteenth degree or even manipulate software for configuring nanoparticles at high pressure. “I’m so hyped, I love it. I'm sure I'll succeed. But it seriously looks too hot, lol,” she confided, before taking the plane.
