Kyle Dubas is at the CH game tonight

There are less than three months left before the 4 Nations tournament. Although the selection of players for Team Canada is not yet final, some choices already seem obvious. However, managers still seem to be assessing the situation with certain players.

Tonight, at the match CHseveral recruiters are present as well as Kyle Dubas. The general manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins is also a member of Team Canada’s leadership, according to Renaud Lavoie. Journalist Stu Cowan mentioned at the start of the meeting the unusual presence of Dubas at the Bell Center. Is he considering the possibility of making a surprising choice? Some positions in the lineup still remain open and far from being acquired.

Connor McDavid’s presence in the lineup seems all but assured, barring injury. We can also expect to see Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, Connor Bedard, Brayden Point, Sam Reinhart and Cale Makar. The rest of the selection could change between now and the official announcement.

Recruiters are often present in large numbers these days during the matches of the CH. Last Thursday, journalist Martin McGuire said on air that around fifteen recruiters were on site during the game against the Minnesota Wild.

After 40 minutes of play, the Tricolor leads 1-0 thanks to a goal from Brendan Gallagher, who managed to deceive Calvin Pickard. The third period promises to be intense. The Oilers and McDavid haven’t said their last word yet, but Samuel Montembeault looks solid tonight.
