The 25th edition of the Arras Film Festival ended on Sunday November 17. The public's enthusiasm is confirmed with some 50,000 festival-goers who attended nearly 300 screenings over 10 days, an increase of 10% compared to 2023. The competition jury, chaired this year by filmmakers Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon, awarded the Golden Atlas Grand Prize to the Ukrainian feature film Honeymoonby director Zhanna Ozirna. The Prize is accompanied by a grant of €12,000 offered by the Urban Community of Arras to the company responsible for the theatrical distribution of the film in France within 12 months following its award. The Silver Atlas Best Director Award rewards Romanian director Bogdan Mureşanu for his film The New Year That Never Came (This new year that never arrived). He receives the grant of €5,000 offered by the Hauts-de-France region.
