Fire in a school in Loire-Atlantique: 302 students evacuated

Ce Monday November 18, 2024shortly after 13 hfirefighters were called to a fire in a primary school in the town of Line (Loire-Atlantique).

Fire alert in a school

Early in the afternoon, around 1 p.m., at theNotre-Dame primary school of Lineat 240 allée Jules-Verne, the firefighters of Sdis 44 intervened for a fire which broke out in staff room.

No injuries in the disaster

All students and teachers were evacuated, including 302 students and 21 adultswho were already outside the establishment when emergency services arrived.

19 firefighters were mobilized to control the flames, with ambulance et two machines on site, helped by the teams of the police nationale and of to municipal policies.

No one was injured in the incident and classes were able to resume after the intervention.
