It notably awards the Fénéon Prizes, which have rewarded young talents in the arts and letters since 1949, in honor of the spirit of independence and discovery of Félix Fénéon, an eminent critic of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The Fénéon literary prize is intended for young French-speaking authors under the age of 35, from modest backgrounds, and aims to support their literary training. The artistic prize, for its part, is aimed at visual artists of the same profile and age, helping to continue their artistic development.
Calls for applications for the Fénéon 2025 awards will begin in April 2025.
The winner of the 2024 Fénéon literary prize is Youness Bousenna, born in Avignon in 1990. Journalist and literary critic collaborating with various media such as Le Monde and Arte, he was awarded an award for his first novel Imperfect presencespublished by Editions Rivages in August 2024.
This introspective novel explores the life of Marc Pépin, a great reporter, who writes an autobiography revealing his weaknesses and his struggles against old age and illness.

For the Fénéon 2024 artistic prize, the jury rewarded Pierre Genouvrier, graduate of the Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués (LISAA). After training in 2D animation and sculpture, he distinguished himself through his works, notably the series Vestige and Carriers of landscapes.
These stoneware ceramics fuse geological and animal forms, evoking ancient herds transformed by time into mountains and rocks.
