No highway blockages but “fires of anger”: the majority union alliance FNSEA-JA is kicking off a new cycle of agricultural mobilization this Monday, with symbolic actions.
Less than a year after a movement of anger in the countryside, which resulted in January in blockages of sections of highways in the country, agricultural unions are once again calling on their troops to demonstrate, but in dispersed order, as the approach of their professional elections which are held in January.
Hit by poor harvests and emerging animal diseases, they believe they have still not reaped the fruits of last winter's anger: the implementation of the 70 commitments then made by the Attal government was slowed down by the dissolution of the National Assembly. And they consider the standards still as complex and the income insufficient
