Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps won their second consecutive gold medal as a pair at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Helsinki, Finland.
After their victory in November in front of their fans in Halifax, the duo produced their best performance of the season on Sunday, finishing with an impressive total of 207.44 points to secure gold.
Canadians Kelly Ann Laurin and Loucas Éthier, also competing as a pair, offered one of their best performances of the season. They finished just off the podium, just three points behind bronze medalists Rebecca Ghilardi and Filippo Ambrosini of Italy.
This gold medal guarantees Stellato-Dudek and Deschamps a place in the Grand Prix Final, which will take place December 5-8 in Grenoble, France.

Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier also reached the podium on Sunday in ice dancing, but were unable to repeat their Halifax triumph.
The duo led after the rhythm dance, but were overtaken by Britain’s Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson, who won their second Grand Prix gold this season.
Gilles and Poirier nevertheless collected 200.79 points to come away with silver.
