When they arrived there, “the level impacted (from the house, Editor’s note) was totally ablaze,” reports the Departmental Fire and Rescue Operations Center (Codis). Twenty-four firefighters from the intervention and rescue centers of Balleroy-sur-Drôme, Bayeux, Caen, Le Molay-Littry and Trévières were mobilized to contain the fire, using two hoses, and transport the injured person.
The residential house is partially destroyed inside. “A surveillance van will remain on site throughout the evening,” specifies Lieutenant Lesueur.
