In Russia, at the drone teacher school

Since 1^is September, a new school subject entered Russian schools: development, production and operation of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

According to the Parlamentarnaïa Gazeta, the Parliament newspaper, this new “science” will be taught in specialized classes or groups “in more than 500 schools, as well as in the practical training centers of 30 higher education establishments”. “More than 2,500 thousand teachers are already trained for this purpose,” continues the newspaper.

This initiative is part of a real “national project”, launched in the summer of 2023 during the war in Ukraine.
