PSG: Qatar not involved in OL's financial problems?

While John Textor once again expressed his optimism to see Olympique Lyonnais remain in Ligue 1 at the end of the season, Saint-Germain would ultimately not be involved in any way in this matter.

Put under pressure by the DNCG, OL did not panic. Yesterday, John Textor reiterated his full confidence in his club remaining in Ligue 1 at the end of this season and he will not appeal the decision. “For the good reason that we cannot do it on a simple warning,” he said about the demotion as a precaution.

However, while the OL boss mentioned “a deficit of €100 million” for OL, he also insisted on the good financial health of the Eagle group, and stressed that his French club was going to rebalance its accounts in the next few months.

“PSG has a good back! »

From December, with an injection of €75 million from equity and/or transfers of players from the Eagle Holdings group, notably through the sales of players from Botafogo and thanks to the approximately €40 million which could be donated subsequently of the sale of 45.3% of the Crystal Palace shares held by the group.

Faced with this observation, those who argued that PSG could have hidden behind the sanction of the DNCG (the daughter of the boss of the body works there) are becoming more discreet. “We must stop the delirium and conspiracy,” thundered Mohamed Toubache-Ter on X. “It’s becoming pathetic and dangerous!!! Is it PSG who is responsible for Olympique Lyonnais' deficit?? It is PSG which is responsible for Aulas-Textor management?? PSG has a good back, eh! »
