Five levels separated the two adversaries. Suffice to say that this Saturday, November 16, 2024, it was “the match of a lifetime” for Serquigny-Nassandres, two municipalities in Eure with 2,000 inhabitants each facing Guingamp (Ligue 2). Never in its historythe FCSN had never been faced with opposition of this level.
The match took place in a sold-out stadium, in Lisieux (Calvados), from 6:30 p.m. The approximately 1,900 tickets put on sale quickly found takers.
The Bretons made life difficult for the Normans, who lost heavily (and logically) by 5 goals to 0.

Penalty whistled for Guingamp, after a Breton player was surrounded by a Norman, judged the referee. Whistles from the public, but conversion of said penalty by Hugo Picard. Guingamp 5, Serquigny 0.

Serquigny saved from 5-0 by his post, in the 79th minute, following a nice curling Breton shot. Second Guingamp post in a short time.

Fatigue is felt at the FCSN. Nicolas Citerin, victim of cramps, is replaced by Paul Vannier. And Guilhem Miraglia replaces Youri Moskwa.
