If he currently plays with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Redha Kramdi (the most fascinating player in the current Gray Cup) could certainly be tempted, one day, to join Danny Maciocia, general manager of the Alouettes, in Montreal.

“Danny had a big impact on my personal development and on the field,” said Kramdi, specifying in the same breath that he was however very happy currently with the Bombers. She is a person that I carry in my heart. He knows my family and my brother, who passed away. (…) I like to say that Danny is like a godfather to me. I have a very special relationship with him, because he has helped me enormously in many facets of my life, including football.

Kramdi and Maciocia developed their relationship a few years ago with the Carabins of the University of Montreal. Quebecer Marc-Antoine Dequoy also had him as a teammate.
“I adore this human,” said Dequoy, in a well-intentioned tone. He loves football so much, he is passionate and I am sure that one day he will be a coach.

For the moment, Kramdi seems to still have a few good years ahead of him as an athlete. His contract with the Blue Bombers is still valid for the 2025 season. And according to head coach Mike O’Shea, the Winnipeg team will not let him go easily.
“I love him a lot,” O’Shea said. He deserved to play the strongside linebacker position, regardless of his nationality. He is a competitor and he plays football the right way since he is extremely intelligent. And as a human being, he is extraordinary. He’s a family guy and he’s great with his teammates.”
