This Saturday, November 16, a man held several employees of his father’s restaurant hostage in Issy-les-Moulineaux. One of the restaurant’s employees, who left the establishment just before the hostage-taking in the face of the man’s aggressiveness, spoke to our RTL colleagues.
He left the restaurant just in time. Choukri is one of the employees of the pizzeria “L’Olivier” in Issy-les-Moulineaux, in Hauts-de-Seine, where the manager’s son held hostage for a few hours, Saturday November 16, several employees who were then released without incident by police officers from the search and intervention brigade (BRI). The employee testifies to our colleagues at RTL.
According to Choukri, the man arrived at the restaurant very angry and aggressive. “He hit the bartender, he continues, he started shouting at me, he broke glasses and plates. I told him: “‘I want to go home, I can’t work like this.’ He slapped me on the back with his feet.“
Known to law enforcement
According to BFMTV, there was neitherclientele nor public“during the hostage-taking, which lasted approximately three hours. The accused was arrested by the BRI. Still according to BFMTV, the man suffers from drug addiction and is known to the police, but unknown to justice.
Placed in police custody, he will be subject to a psychiatric examination. According to his lawyer, contacted by our colleagues, his state of mental health “had deteriorated recently“.
