What line up for Hellfest 2025?

The atmosphere is rising in the metal community as speculation intensifies around the lineup for Hellfest 2025, scheduled for June 19 to 22 in Clisson. As the first European festivals begin to unveil their posters, predictions are flooding social networks. Which groups could ignite the stages this year?

Towards a rock and powerful programming?

For several editions, Hellfest has broadened its horizons by blurring the boundaries between rock and metal. In 2024, the festival made its mark with headliners such as Foo Fighters, Shaka Ponk, Queen Of The Stone Age and Royal Blood. Ben Barbaud, founder of the festival, declared in an interview that Hellfest “does not say no to Muse, Placebo or Green Day”. This statement fuels the rumors, especially since Muse et Green Day confirm a European tour, including the Tons of Rock Festival in Oslo in June.

A name also comes up regularly: Linkin Park. Although they have announced a major tour with a visit to the Stade de France on July 11, 2025, their presence at Hellfest would mark a highly anticipated return to the festival.

Korn, Bullet For My Valentine et Airbourne en ambuscade

On the metal side, several names seem to have a consensus among festival bookmakers. Kornthe nu-metal legends, have already confirmed their participation in various festivals, just like Airbourne and Bullet For My Valentine, who will perform in particular at Download Festival UK. Their visit to Hellfest therefore seems almost logical, just like that of Sleep Token, in full rise with their unique blend of alternative metal and post-metal.

Soon the end of the wait?

With a full ticket office for months, the programming of the Hellfest 2025 arouses enthusiasm and debate. If names like Muse or Green Day are confirmed, the festival would take a new step by reconciling legendary rock headliners and established figures from the great metal family.
