“The Brotherhood of the Knights of Saint-Antoine” of Burgundy Franche-Comté organized, as part of the 46th Dijon Gastronomic Fair, the Competition for the Best Artisanal Parsley Ham 2024. The competition took place on Thursday, November 7, 2024; the jury first had to rate the products presented in order to establish the ranking of the winners.
La Maison Morey Caterer once again distinguished itself by participating in this competition with their flagship product: the famous Parsley Ham so appreciated by customers.
Maison Morey is very pleased to announce to its customers that it has just won the 2024 Gold medal in the competition for the best Artisanal Parsley Ham.
Info Chalon : “How does this competition take place? »
Pierre Morey : « This competition is organized by the brotherhood of St Antoine de Bourgogne Franche-Comté and takes place every year at the Dijon gastronomic fair. »
IC : “Why parsley ham? »
PM : « it is a product that we particularly like because it is part of our regional culture. It is present as an aperitif, as a starter in many homes and is also appreciated outside our borders. »
IC : “I don't want to betray a secret, but what is the best recipe for a good blue-veined ham? »
PM : « Hum, here are some ingredients for a successful parsley: free-range pork, gentle salting, garlic, fresh parsley, a good broth and slow cooking, all well worked with a lot of passion and attention, to know -TO DO… »
IC : “Who prepared and made the blue-veined ham that you presented in the competition? »
PM : « I made the Parsley Ham myself, I like working with it, I got help from Arnaud Sivo. Thanks to Arnaud, who has worked at the house for over 14 years, for his collaboration! Together, we chose and placed the different pieces with love.
And the result makes us want to please our customers!! »
This Gold medal is the consecration of quality and good French eating, it is constantly the desired goal and the will of Maison Morey.
