Grand Theft Auto Trilogy updates for its anniversary

GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, bringing together Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, was the subject of much discontent from fans of the license when it was released on Nintendo Switch . The port was not easy for Rockstar to transpose quite demanding episodes onto our favorite console. Although a first significant update was released two years ago correcting visual effects, many bugs still remained to be corrected.

To celebrate its 3rd anniversary, Rockstar is releasing the birthday cake with the version 1.112 update. With this new update, the publisher promises numerous fixes and improvements without naming them but above all an “addition of the classic lighting mode which restores the appearance and feeling of the sky in the original games”. A scent of nostalgia is likely to resonate in the eyes of fans of the game on PC and PS2 who spent hundreds of hours in the 2000s on these legendary games!

So did you acquire this port at the time? Wait tirelessly for the announcement of a port of GTA 5 or the release of the highly anticipated GTA 6 in the years to come on… a Nintendo console!
